ROGUE RIVER BOAT SHOP ESTABLISHED 1956 541 479 1504 Rogue River Boat shop was one of the first boat shops in United States that specialized in building river running craft. Started by Jerry Briggs in 1956 when he began designing boats for use on whitewater river. His patented"Rogue River Special" was and continues to be a classic in whitewater drift boats design that not only fishes and runs whitewater but also motors well. Jerry collaborated with Martin Litton in the 1970's to design and build the very first Colorado Grand Canyon River Dories. In 1980 Jerry worked with BA Hanton to design and build the Rogue Inflatables Whitewater Rafts that became a standard in the whitewater industry for over a decade. Today Bret Clark continues the tradition of building superior river craft (though today they are built with aluminum rather than wood). He still produce the patented Rogue River Special and the Colorado River Dories. Rogue River Boat will services and repair most makes and models of boats. But we specializes in river boats both powered and rowed. Bret and Ed are experienced designers and mechanics with years of experience.
